Lunch

In these paintings the construction I make of bodies through circles and ovals in pencil, also emerged in painting, due to the need to paint quickly because of the continuous change of pose of the subjects.

I have often been told that in this way the figures seemed like puppets and precisely for this reason I strengthened the construction lines, to underline a condition of imprisonment, of being in someone's hands.
These poses are stolen from different moments, which overlap over time, as the figures overlap on the canvas.
